Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman is an American gymnast America who was awarded gold medals at the 2012 Olympics. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to win the highest number of medals at the Olympics. In the 2016 Olympics she won gold in the team event which gave her as well as co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she won silver in individual all around as well as for floor exercise. It was three years between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Furthermore she was a part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue the expansion of her signature range of leotards. The book she is working on is called Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
